Gear Motors for Greenhouse Ventilation

LG403 and LG405 have been developed especially for automatic opening of greenhouse vents and screen systems. They are compatible with various rack and pinion systems.

  • High torque of 400 N-m (Newton meter)
  • LG403 and LG405 weigh only 19 kg, making them relatively easy to install
  • Maintenance-free. The closed gearbox keeps oil in and dirt out.
  • The standard flange motor can be removed from the gearbox.
  • An optional potentiometer for position feedback can be built in.

LG403 with Torque Stop

The torque stop powers off the motor whenever a set torque is detected. In case of any obstruction to the vent closing, such as freezing, the LG 403 torque stop will halt the motor to avoid damage. For screen systems, the torque stop ensures that the screen wires are never pulled too strongly.

LG405 with Double Limit Stop

LG405 is now equipped with double fixed limit stops, to give double security against damage.

LG403/5 - Safety Stop Version

LG403/5 is now available; it combines the fixed limit stop from LG405 and the torque stop from LG403. This provides two modes of failsafe protection.
