IGT's SuperTray is a vast improvement over the tradional DGT-Volmatic Start tray and Drain tray. It combines the functions of both.

The SuperTray measures EC, pH, Weight (kg), and drainage flow. By measuring tray weight, it can determine the amount of water content more accurately, without needing to sense the water level.

Compatible with all of IGT's irrigation and climate computers--including CDN, AMI and LCC, the SuperTray can feed valuable data back to the computers so that irrigation is controlled more effectively.

Intro to Hydroponic Tray Systems:

With a tray sensor the plants decide when to be irrigated. The tray is used with plants grown in rockwool or perlite slabs, such as tomatoes and cucumbers. A group of sample plants/slabs are placed in the tray, and irrigation injectors are set up as usual. The tray's equipment senses moisture conditions in the crop throughout each day, and this information is used to control irrigation in the entire zone of the greenhouse.
