Each dual-vent module manages two vents independently. The device also senses the vent's position to ensure that the motor stops at the correct time, to protect the mechanical systems and save on energy. These controllers interface with IGT's climate control computers for automatic vent control. Moreover, manual control can be done with the turn of a switch.

IGT's controller is customized for the specific Gear motors to be used. For example, 600V 3-phase power is common.
